Applications are now being accepted for the Lady Mavs girls’ summer basketball camps at Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa, according to Coach Greg Krause, camp director.

Donnie Noles, who is in charge of the THS All-Star Showcase, is in need of more information about several members.

Northern Oklahoma College Maverick baseball alum Trevin Michael will be pitching for the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2022 Men’s College World Series starting Friday. Michael attended NOC from 2017-19 pitching two years for the Mavs. After graduating from NOC, Michael pitched two years at Lamar University before attending OU this year as a graduate student. Michael has worked as a starter and reliever for the Sooners in 2022 posting a 4-1 record with a 2.94 ERA. Michael has struck out 90 hitters in 60.1 innings while walking just 18. OU faces Texas A&M Friday at 2 p.m. in Omaha, Nebraska, at the MCWS. Michael is a graduate of Piedmont High School.
