Saturday, February 19th at 6:30 p.m. The Ponca City Gospel Jubilee is excited to feature “The Singing Bones” Leroy & Tracey Bender-Bone. Tracey is a singer, songwriter, recording artist and has been singing most of her life. She came from a musical family and has been a part of many venues (country and gospel) between Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Missouri. However, her favorite thing is to sing for The Lord, it is a calling on her life. Now her and husband, Leroy, travel to churches all over sharing the gospel through music when she isn’t working for the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management where she is the Statewide Exercise Officer. Leroy sang as a young man but went on to real life raising kids and has earned the title of “Cookie Man” since 1996. He didn’t sing for close to 40 years but as his mother aged, he began to sing especially for her until he married Tracey and now, he never gets to stop. Ha! Traveling extensively throughout the years sharing Gods through song and testimony. Between them they have 6 grown children, 15 beautiful grandchildren and 1 great grandchild that they are very proud of and always grateful for their support. They love the calling God has on their lives and their only goal is to obey that call… Ee hope you will come on out and be with us and let’s enjoy the evening with this great Southern Gospel Duet.
