Drummond defends American firearms manufacturers from Mexican government’s legal attack

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 3, 2024) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond and a coalition of 27 state attorneys general are defending American firearms manufacturers from the Mexican government’s attempt to hold the companies liable for gun violence in Mexico. If a lower court’s ruling is allowed to stand, Americans’ Second Amendment rights could be threatened.

Citywide Scheduled Power Outage Planned for June 8, 2024

The City of Tonkawa would like its electric customers to know about an upcoming scheduled outage that will impact all of its customers. On June 8, repair crews with OG&E will be working on a system issue that will result in a full outage to the city. The outage is expected to begin around 9 p.m. on June 8 and could last 8-9 hours into the early morning hours of June 9. The City of Tonkawa apologizes for any inconvenience to customers.
