Area students named to NSU President’s Honor Roll

Northeastern State University of Tahlequah is pleased to announce that 652 students met the criteria to be named to the President’s Honor Roll for the fall 2020 semester. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 12 hours of undergraduate classes with a 4.0 grade point average.

Enter His Gates K-UP Grant brings first-time electricity to summer camp

The summer when Elisa Salyer was 9-years-old was a life-shaping season for her. That June, she enrolled in the Enter His Gates camp in Enid, Oklahoma. Salyer spent a week at camp learning to ride a horse, doing archery, going on nature walks, hearing Bible lessons, and more.

City of Tonkawa Awarded CUP Recertification

The City of Tonkawa was presented a $20,000 check by the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority during their council meeting on February 18th, recognizing the city for being officially recertified in the Competitive Utility Program (CUP).
