Free absentee voting services are offered

( The Secretary of the Oklahoma State Election Board joined representatives of the Oklahoma Bankers Association, Oklahoma Credit Union Association, and Community Bankers Association of Oklahoma have announced that financial institutions across the state plan to offer free absentee voting services to all Oklahoma voters.

Vicki Todd is awarded the Billings Chamber of Commerce Yard of the Month for June. Vicki has spent countless hours arranging and maintaining many little areas in her spacious yard for visitors to sit and relax. Those who drive by will have to make many trips around the block to take in and enjoy all the wonderful yard ornaments and especially the beautiful barn quilt she painted and displays on her carport. Vicki lives on the south side of Highway 15 and her yard is one that travelers passing through Billings can drive by and enjoy.

Oklahoma Wheat Commission to hold District V election

The Oklahoma Wheat Commission will hold an election to fill the District V board seat opening. The election will be held Tuesday, June 30th, 2020, commencing at 1 p.m. at the Pioneer Technology Center, located at 2101 N. Ash in the West Seminar Room in Ponca City, Oklahoma. District V consists of all counties east of the Western boundary lines of Kay, Noble, Logan, Oklahoma, Cleveland, Grady, Stephens and Jefferson counties.
