Hey you! Glad to see you back again reading the Buc Blab! If it’s your first time seeing this article in the paper, then we are glad to have you! This past week was special, you can probably guess it… PROM! THS had prom this weekend and let’s just say it was amazing! We had loads of fundraising this year and lots of hard work to plan this one out. Prom started with pictures in the Heart in the Park, following was the Grand March in the Tonkawa Event Center. Everyone looked handsome and beautiful! Amazing group we had this year. The Grand March was successful as we completely filled up the Event Center with some amazing parents, family, and friends to watch our Juniors and Seniors walk through! Next up was prom! We had some beautiful decorations as always in the old gym. Thank you to all the senior parents for helping set up Prom & after Prom! Special thanks to all the teachers and staff who stayed after hours to help decorate and plan! From us Juniors & Seniors, thank you so much everyone. We all enjoyed prom so much! With all the bouncy houses, snacks, prizes… it was an amazing prom! Thank you everyone again. Baseball and Track had senior night at one of Tonkawa Baseball’s last home games, this was a success! Baseball seniors & managers had beautiful wooden home plates with a white vinyl with their name, number, and the team’s signatures on the back. We are going to miss these seniors in track and baseball. Some amazing athletes that will be headed on soon. Track did really well this past week at Medford, we’ve placed quite a bit in the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd range. Great job Buccaneers! Good luck with the conference tournament this week in baseball!
