Todd Glasgow, born on April 8, 1963, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, embraced life with an unwavering passion that resonated with all who knew him. He departed this world surrounded by his loving family on January 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy as a devoted educator, coach, friend, and cherished family man.
Todd graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He further honed his skills by obtaining a Master of Education in Secondary and Elementary Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2001. His professional odyssey began at Blackwell Public Schools in 1986, where he served as a Teacher and Coach. His illustrious career would ultimately lead him to pivotal roles at numerous schools including Yukon Mid-High School, Madill Public Schools, and Putnam City West High School, where his influence transcended the classroom as a teacher and coach. Under Todd’s leadership, the Madill Wildcats wrestling program captured its only two state championships in school history, winning backto- back titles in 1992 and 1993. He was honored as the State of Oklahoma Wrestling Coach of the Year for both those years.
In 2001, Todd transitioned into the role of administrator. He served as assistant principal for both Choctaw Jr High and High School and from there went on to serve as principal of Piedmont High School in 2006. The pinnacle of his career was his tenure as the Superintendent of Geary Public Schools from 2013 to 2021. During this period, he exemplified exceptional leadership by significantly enhancing the district’s carryover from $500,000 to an impressive $4.3 million. He worked diligently to try and advance the district in both academics and athletics. One thing he was especially passionate about was the legendary Geary Wrestling Tournament. He attracted nationally ranked teams to compete and founded the tournament’s Hall of Fame.
President of the Oklahoma Wrestling Coaches Association and a respected presenter for the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration, he dedicated his life to the advancement of student athletics and education. With a passion for leadership and mentorship, Todd made a lasting impact on the wrestling community and the educational landscape in Oklahoma. His commitment to excellence, integrity, and service will be remembered by colleagues, athletes, and educators alike.
Beyond his professional accolades, Todd was deeply committed to his family, who he considered his proudest accomplishment. He shared a life full of love and laughter with his wife, Shana (Anderson) Glasgow, and was an adoring father to Haden Glasgow and wife Sierra of Florida, Max Glasgow, and Maggie Glasgow of Stillwater, Oklahoma. The affection he had for his family was evident in his every endeavor; he was a steadfast supporter and a constant source of inspiration.
His mother, Melinda (Harris) Glasgow of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and siblings— Lance Glasgow and wife Jenny of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and their children, Zane, Kaitlin, Nick, and Evan; Ralinda North and husband David of Kansas City, Missouri, and their children, Mason, Porter, and Baker; Melissa Riecker and husband Cameron of Prairie Village, Kansas, and their children, Bailey, Sidney, and Riley— many beloved cousins, other extended family, his students, and a multitude of friends who will forever hold fond memories of their time with him.
Todd’s zest for life extended beyond his professional achievements. He found joy in the camaraderie of sporting events, proudly supporting Oklahoma State University. Cooking and grilling outdoors brought him immense pleasure, as did hunting and playing various sports, with golf as one of his favorites. In retirement, Todd was instrumental in reinstating the Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) men’s wrestling program and newly formed women’s program, dedicating countless hours to its growth and success. Through his tireless efforts, he not only rebuilt a strong foundation for the program but also volunteered and worked tirelessly to raise funds, ensuring opportunities for student-athletes to thrive. He embodied the spirit of a motivator, a mover, and a shaker—consistently encouraging those around him to appreciate life and to find humor in everyday moments. He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Glasgow, along with his grandparents, Howard and Bea Harris, and Russell and Gus Glasgow, as well as his aunt, Suzie Flowers.
