Robert Howard Steers, 63, of Tonkawa, OK, left on April 28, 2024. Robert was born on April 22, 1961, in Ponca City, OK, to Howard Eugene and Yolla Fern (Clark) Steers. After graduating from high school, Robert joined the US Air Force, retiring after 16 years. He loved being a camera tech.

Robert is survived by his wife, MIsty, of the home; sons, Jacob Smithson, Alexander Smithson, and Austin Smithson; daughters, Kristin Smithson and Jaelynn Smithson, grandchildren, Roselynn Smithson, Maven Turner and Tatum Jefferson; sister, Ra-Donna Ogez and her husband of Jenks, OK; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Ceremony, with Military Honors, will be held at the First Baptist in Tonkawa, Ok, on Thursday May 23rd at 2:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Tonkawa, OK.
