Linda Williams
Linda Williams, a long-time resident of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, died Monday the 25th of November, 2019 at her home in Tonkawa.
Funeral Services were held Monday December 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. at The Christian Life Church, 115 West Grand Ave., Tonkawa, OK 74653, followed by lunch served at the First National Bank of Oklahoma in Tonkawa’s Heritage Room. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Karman Legacy Hospice, 1311 South Western Rd., Stillwater, OK 74074.
Born on January 11, 1949 in in Blackwell, OK. Linda married her husband David Williams at the United Methodist Church in Tonkawa. Linda raised their 3 children in Tonkawa, as she worked for many years as a beautician. She later worked for a dental office and after retirement she ran the office for the family’s mini storage business.
Linda enjoyed attending sporting events for her children when they were in school. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends camping and boating at the lake. Her favorite pastime was spending time spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Williams of Tonkawa; her children, Ty Williams and his wife Natalie Williams of Tonkawa, Travis Williams of Dallas, TX, and Amiee Mancin and her husband Craig Mancin of McKinney; her grandchildren, Kayla and Kambrey Williams of Allen, TX, and Tess and Emma Mancin of McKinney, TX; her sister, Joyce Campos and her husband David Campos of Mesquite, TX; her brother, Chris Ascue of Tonkawa; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dwayne Ascue and Norma Lea Ascue (Bonnet) and her parents in-law, J.U. Williams and Dorothy Williams.
