LINDA WATSON

Linda Watson passed away in her home in Oklahoma City surrounded by family on April 2, 2021 at the age of 69. She was the widow of Terry Watson. They had two sons.

Ms. Watson was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1951. She received her associates degree at Northern Oklahoma College in medical laboratory technology. She met Terry Watson while at NOC. They were married in 1971 in a small church near Glencoe. She worked as a medical laboratory technician at Blackwell regional Hospital and later Ponca City Medical center for over 35 years. While in Tonkawa she was a member of the First Christian Church of Tonkawa. Later she was a member of Woodlands Christian Church in Ponca City. After moving to Oklahoma City Linda attended Westside Christian Church of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2008, her mother in 2018, and her husband in 2020. She is survived by her two sons, her daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, and four sisters.

There will be a joint memorial service for her and her husband at Woodlands Christian Church in Ponca City, OK on May 7th at 10:00 am. The family requests that masks be worn during the service.

Her beautiful voice will be missed.
