Julie Howard
Julie Howard of Tonkawa, OK. was born on May 1, 1977 to Ira and Pat Levings Howard. She was born again while attending Christian Center School in Ponca City Julie attended Tonkawa High School and graduated with the class of 1995. Julie had a great love for her friends and their children and was Aunt Julie to them all. Above all she loved her sons Justin and Joey Howard as they were her greatest accomplishment. During most of her adult life, Julie battled schizophrenia. On March 22, 2024 she woke up with mental peace, and complete healing of mind and body. It was not Death that took her, but a leaving of a world too hard and mean, and being born once again into the loving arms of Jesus. There is no crazy in heaven. There is only wholeness and pure love.
Waiting for her with open arms she joined her Grandparents Lloyd and Geraldine Howard, dear friend Jennie Brunton Howard, her stepdad and sister John and Amber McCune, and her friend Jeff Stricklin all who were also from Tonkawa.
Those left behind, thankful for her newfound everlasting peace, include her Dad Ira and his wife Pat Howard of Ponca City, sons Justin and Joseph (Joey) Howard both of Tonkawa, Grandparents Ivan and LaUna Levings of Alva OK. Regina and Chris LeMay of Tonkawa, Brother Joshua and wife Brandy Sensintaffar of Owasso, Brother Tracy Mc-Cune of Tonkawa, Julie had many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. And of course me, her Momma. Patty McCune of Tonkawa. Her story is not over Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in the Tonkawa I.O.O.F.
