Jeffrey “Reid” Williams
On Thursday, September
5, 2019, Jeffrey “Reid” Williams, cherished and loved son, grandson, brother, husband and father, passed away at the age of 32.
Reid was born on March
16, 1987 in Tulsa, OK to Jeff and Sue Ann Williams. He attended Providence High School in Charlotte, NC. A talented tradesman, Reid was drawn to his career as an Electrician.
On August 3, 2016 he married
Raye-Lani Nyhuis in a private ceremony in Fort Worth, TX.
They, along with the rest of their family members, were lovingly blessed with twin sons; Greyson Brock and Cole
Garrett Williams.
A true outdoorsman, Reid loved diversity in his recreations; adult league baseball, golf, fishing and off-roading.
Reid’s sense of humor, personality and magnetism were second to none. When he entered a room, people gravitated to him, with his broad shoulders, gorgeous smile and contagious laugh. Reid loved meeting new people, and everyone who had the good fortune of meeting him, commented on how special he made them feel, and how much they loved being around him.
Reid was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother; Max and Mildred (Mim) Welch. He is survived by his wife Raye-Lani, his sons Greyson and Cole, parents Jeff and Sue Ann Williams, brother Garrett Williams, of Fort Worth, TX and paternal grandparents Jim and Kathryn Williams, of Newkirk, OK. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins, nephews and friends that adored Reid.
A Celebration of Reid’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. Flower Mound Family Funeral Home, 3550 Firewheel Drive, Flower Mound, TX. Reception to follow at the home of Reid’s parents in Lantana, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrance be in the form of donations to Mental Health America of Greater Dallas, 624 N.
