Tyler Charles

Tyler Charles Vincent left this world on January 30, 2025, to skateboard down heavenly streets of gold. During his 36 years on this earth, Tyler’s daring nature, funny sense of humor, consideration for others, and kind smile, left a legacy that will never fade. His family and friends miss him dearly but rejoice that he is free from his seven-year fight against Ewing’s Sarcoma.

Tyler, aka “Squirrel” to his friends, was born on October 5th, 1988 in Ponca City, OK. He grew up living an active lifestyle and had a love for adrenaline. You could find him climbing trees, bungee jumping, riding 4-wheelers, and driving to loud music in his beloved Camaro. As a young man, he dreamed of being a stuntman and owning his own business. His energy was infectious and as a result people were drawn to him. He graduated from Tonkawa High School in 2007, then graduated with an Associates Degree in Business from Northern Oklahoma College in 2009 and married his high school sweetheart, Diane on October 30, 2010.

As he grew into adulthood, he found a new passion for farm life where he found joy driving combines, harvesting summer wheat, and working cattle. He transitioned from skateboarding to playing disc golf, and he loved when fall came around so he could play fantasy football with his friends. He faced his cancer diagnosis with fierce determination and strength. Though it may have limited his physical ability, cancer never once limited his ability to make others smile. He will be remembered for his kind and funloving spirit. He could walk into any room and make it better, no matter the circumstance. He had a way of making others feel special, a phenomenon that his family called the “Tyler Effect”. God created an amazing man who truly touched the lives of so many, and now that his work has been done, he is finally home.

Tyler is lovingly survived by his wife Diane, his father Edgar Vincent, mother Rebecca Roundtree, step-father Nolan Roundtree, brother Westen Vincent, sister-in-law Kaitlyn Vincent, sister Nevaeh Roundtree, grandparents John and Marilyn Ramey, grandmother Marlene Welch, father-in-law Tony Kodesh, mother-in-law Connie Kodesh, brother-in-law Scott Kodesh, sister-in-law Larissa Kodesh, brother-in-law Matt Brooks, sister-in-law Brenda Brooks, sister-in-law Linda Kodesh.
