For the next week or two, the Tonkawa Animal Shelter will be getting some work done on it. There have been areas that have been falling apart that Suzanne has been looking to get replaced or repaired and the time has finally come. With that in mind, Tonkawa’s Animal Control is asking that the community be especially vigilant with their pets in the upcoming weeks. Welding and other loud noises will be fairly constant at the shelter during this time and it would be less than desired to have the community members’ pets there during the renovation.TACO Burns also gave a huge thank you to the community for their kind donations over the last few months.“I’ve had a lot of donations in the last couple months… If you feel like donating rawhide bones and dry cat and dog food is always needed. They really enjoyed the warm blankets so thank you.”
