Yvonne Hook 1950-2024

Yvonne Hook, age 73, resident of Tonkawa, OK, passed away September 11, 2024 in Enid, OK.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 16, 2024, at the Tonkawa Church of Christ, 300 N. Public, Tonkawa OK 74653 with Pastor Ron Walcher officiating. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Tonkawa.

Yvonne Lorraine (Osburn) Hook was born September 28, 1950, to Eva (Baker) and Charley Osburn in Enid, OK. She worked as a bank manager for many years.

When she wasn’t working, she was involved with her church. Her passions were her family, children, grandchildren, and her faith.

She is survived by her husband Virgil; son Larry Hook; daughter Amy Espen and husband John; brother Melvin Osburn and wife Brenda; sisters June Veach and husband Garold, and Virginia Sue Pinkham; grandchildren Vincent Hook, Justin Espen and wife Brianna, Jeron Espen and wife Katy; great grandchildren Jaylon Espen, Sawyer Bloss, Theo Espen, and Nathan Hook; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Evan and Charlie; son Jimmy Hook/ and brother Jerry Osburn.

Donations may be made to the Tonakwa Church of Christ, 300 N. Public, Tonkawa OK 74653. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Casketbearers will be Jerry Hook, Jeron Espen, Justin Espen, Jaylon Espen, Gregory Osburn, Jason Veach, and Jimmy Pennington.
