Baseball traveled to Panama and then to Checotah due to weather for the regional tournament where their season came to an end. They won 21 games this season. Track competed at state and came home with various victories.The girls, who placed 8th as a team out of 46, won second place in the 4X400 (Reid Randall, Henley Hembree, Lily Looper, Talynn Williams), second in 300 hurdles (Talynn Williams), fifth in discus (Jacqueline Sigala), and sixth in pole vault (Jazmin Dollarhide). Talynn set a school record for 300 hurdles. The boys placed 5th out of 42, and won fourth in the 4X800 (Dalton Pierce, Peyten Keith, Chase Moore, Isaiah Lively), first in discus (Dominic Grein), fourth in shot put (Dominic Grein), second in the 3200 meter run (Bly Frieouf), seventh in pole vault (Ashland Reeder), seventh in the 4X400 (Dalton Pierce, Rush Brown, Lucas Keith, Peyten Keith), and seventh in 1600 meter run (Bly Frieouf). Bly set the school record for the 3200 meter run. Congratulations to our teams! It is Teacher Appreciation Week this week, so show your educators some love!
