Northern Oklahoma College has announced an extension for this year’s applications to the Process Technology Program.Students interested in the Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa Process Technology Program focused on the Refining and Processing Industries have until March 15, 2024 to apply for the Fall 2024 semester. Only students who fill out the on-line application will be considered.Program manager Frankie Wood-Black said the program is limited to 24 students. Wood-Black added the program is available to anyone interested in Process Technology, but they must fill out the application for this program, due to its high demand.The review process begins in April, and applicants will be notified of the review process. The application may be found at https://www.noc.edu/academics/academic-divisions/engineeringphysical- science-and-process-technology-division/processtechnology/ ptechapplication/ .Once the program is filled for the fall semester, a waiting list will be maintained and individuals may be contacted prior to the beginning of the fall semester should an opening become available.NOC also has a program designed for individuals seeking employment in the Renewable Energy Fields as well. The Wind Technician program has been growing with many individuals finding employment prior to the completion of their degrees. This two-year program does not require an application.
