Tonkawa Buc boys are off to a fast start, going undefeated in week one of the 2023-2024 basketball season. The Bucs beat Newkirk 68-44 and Perry 60-37.The Lady Bucs dropped their first two games of the season, losing to Newkirk 24-37 and Perry 20-52.Tuesday night the Bucs were to host Academy. Both Buc teams will be in the Garber tourney this Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 7-9. The boys play Ripley at 4:40 p.m. in the first round Thursday and the girls play host Garber at 6 p.m.If the boys win they play at 7:20 p.m. Friday and if they lose at 2 p.m. Friday. If the girls win they play at 6 p.m. Friday and if with a loss will see action at 12:40 p.m. Friday. The tourney ends with Saturday games all day.Both teams wind up the 2023 portion of the young season next Tuesday here with Chisholm and Friday with Garber here.
