Cochanna Parker of Tonkawa finishes first and wins $10 in the weeklyFootball Contest this week.Second and $7 goes to Martha Parker and third place and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha.There were several who only missed one game. Cochanna Parker won first by being only 9 points off the final 40-34 OSU win over BYU with a guess of 44-39. Martha Parker was 12 off with a 52-34 guess. McGaha was 16 points with a 34-22 pick.The only other two missing just one game but farther off on the tie-breaker score were Tracy Summers and Shelly Martin.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
