Hello Tonkawa! This last week, students participated in various activities. They listened to Laura Stack speak about the harm of THC addiction in adolescence, which she knew about due to her own son’s story.The academic team ventured to Hennessey for Regionals on Saturday. They played three rounds before ultimately going home, but this is not a dreadful way to end a season. Until next year, quiz bowl!The wrestlers and basketball players are practicing for their seasons, which will begin with the start of December. We wish them great seasons! There will be an assembly for Native American Heritage Month that the students will attend.Turkey Bingo will be on Tuesday, November 14, at the elementary school. Be sure to buy a card so you can play and perhaps win a huge prize! It is no secret that everyone is a bit anxious for Thanksgiving Break. There will be an entire week of break, a week without school! How shall we remember anything when we come back? Then again, one could agree that a break from learning is beneficial at times!Happy Almost-Turkey-Week!
