Presbyterians To Install New MinisterRev. Virgil L. Grace will be installed as the new minister of the Tonkawa Presbyterian Church in installation services at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, in the church. The public is invited to attend the service, and the reception which follows.Participating will be the following ministers from the Cimarron Presbytery: Dr. Arthur C. Young, Ponca City; the Rev. Wm. G. Phipps, Newkirk; the Rev. Redford Rader, Blackwell and the Rev. Charles M. Seitz, Stillwater.Rev. Grace comes to Tonkawa from the Second Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, where he has served as community minister for three years.He graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1960, and took his theological training at McCormick Seminary in Chicago. For seven years he served a city parish in Des Moines, Iowa, and a rural parish outside of Des Moines for three years.His wife, Margaret has a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago. Her undergraduate work in child development was completed at Connecticut College.The Graces have two children, Karen, who is a second grader, and Keith, five years old.3 Tonkawa Girls On Hockey Team At Central StateGail Humphries, Debby Randall and Louise Wintermute, Tonkawa seniors at Central State University, are three of the 27 coeds who make up the women’s varsity field hockey team this fall at the Edmond campus.Playing against six Oklahoma universities and colleges, the Bronchettes have four wins, two losses and one tie this season. They have defeated Phillips University, East Central State College, Southwestern State College and Oklahoma University, Oklahoma State University and East Central have both beaten CSU and Phillips has tied the Bronchettes one match.Following the regular season, the group will travel to Northeastern State College, Tahlequah, for the state intercollegiate tournament on Nov. 3.Larry Durbin dischargedLarry D. Durbin, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Durbin, 204 South Fifth Street, received his discharge from the U.S. Army Monday at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and is now visiting with his parents. Larry enlisted in the Army, and received his 16 weeks of basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He spent 32 months in Germany. His last station was as a dining facilities worker in Headquarters Company, 4th Battalion, 6th Armor in Aschaffenburg.J.
