Hello again, Buc Nation! For several aspects of the fall, this last week was the close. The football boys played their last game of the season on Friday. Though we did not win, the memories of the season have been engraved in the minds of many, so is it truly a loss when you look at the fall as a whole? With the end of football, the band ends its marching, football ballgirls must put down the ibuprofen and water cases, and the fans must disperse and empty the stadium. Do not worry though—that stadium will soon be filled again, a short year from now!For the cheerleaders, the last football game was not the end; they attended the Gameday cheer competition on Saturday, resulting in a sixteenth place, and though this did not take them to state, it is still impressive!Band is now in concert season with the first one, the fall concert, on Tuesday. The academic team faced off against Perry and lost by a slight amount this last week, but they put that behind them as they prepare to go to Hennessey this weekend for regionals. This one is important, so wish them luck!Have a great week, Tonkawa!
