The Northern Oklahoma College Board of Regents met Wednesday in Tonkawa.Vice President for Financial Affairs Anita Simpson presented the monthly financial report to the regents and the monthly allocation request of $350,00 for computer and network upgrades for Tonkawa, Enid, and Stillwater and computer hardware, software, licensing, and fees. The Board of Regents approved the financial report and the allocation request.In the public comment portion of the agenda, Todd Glasgow provided comments on the wrestling program to the regents.Currently, NOC is interviewing coaches for the men’s and women’s wrestling program that will begin in Fall 2024.Regent chair Brad Fox commented that NOC’s Development Office had two amazing events including the Wrestling Fund Raising Event at TS Fork in Tonkawa Sept. 29 and the Killers of the Flower Moon Movie Screening in Ponca City Oct. 18.The next regents meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the NOC Stillwater Brown Conference Room at 2 p.m.
