The 2023 Tonkawa Homecoming queen and king will be crowned at halftime of the Tonkawa-OK Union football game Friday at 7 p.m.Members of the royal court include ������������ ler, Kate Shepherd, Dominic Grein, Ryan Morgan, Peyten Keith, crown bearer Tate Morgan and flower girl Amay Zinn.Their biographies follow: Peyten Keith is the son of John and Micah Keith and the older brother of Lucas Keith. He is the grandson of Floyd and Teena Keith of Perry, Jerry and Cindy Bocox of Perry, and Thomas and Tammy Novotny of Stillwater. Peyten has played varsity football for four years. He has been a student council representative for three years and a member of the National Honor Society for three years. He attends the Church of Christ. Peyten enjoys going fishing any chance he gets. He also likes playing video games and hanging out with his family and friends. After high school, Peyten plans to attend NOC and study graphic design.Carli Marler is the daughter of Rod and Nelly Marler. She is the younger sister to Casey and Brannon Marler. The granddaughter of Nicholas and Ana Ochoa of Tonkawa. Ronni and Jerry Robinson of Tonkawa. She has been a football ball girl for 4 years, a National Honor Society member for 3 years, and a Student council representative for 1 year. She is involved in the Humanitarian club, and Vice president of this year’s book club. She attends the Christian Life Church of Tonkawa. Carli enjoys shopping with her dad and mom, trips to Starbucks with her best friends, and watching Friday night football games in Tonkawa. After high school, she plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College for two years and finish her finance major at Oklahoma State University.Dominic Wolfe Grein is the son of Peter and Monica Grein. He is the youngest brother to Brekken, Cameron, and James Grein. He is the grandson of Jim and Judy Grein of Shawnee and Joe and Joan Ray of Skiatook. Dom has played football for 4 years, basketball for 4 years, and has ran track for 4 years. He was selected to play in the All Conference basketball game and was a state qualifier in the shot and disc in 2023.
