Hello, Buc Nation! Students’ spirits heighten as the Bucs beat the Blackwell Maroons in a 40-6 football game last week and continue to grow as we look ahead to this week’s home game against Chouteau. Will the Bucs’ luck bring them through for another win?Softball won one and lost one game this past week and goes into the playoffs this week. Additionally, cross country had a meet in Hennessey on the sixteenth. There are no cross country meets this week.The talk about Homecoming has begun to boil! With themes announced and shirt order forms due on the 21st, it is certainly a subject of conversation. Mums (not moms; sorry) are also being sold, so be sure to find an awesome junior so they can get you hooked up. The academic team soon will begin having meets; one will be hosted in the library this week.Even with a slightly less-than-busy week like this one, Tonkawa is always bubbling with excitement if you look in the right places.
