Artist Audrey Schmitz and Art Center of Tonkawa (ACT) are offering Glass and a Glass!, an interactive glass fusing class for adults on Thursday, June 8 at 6:30 pm at ACT, 202 E. Grand. Participants will create an original “Meadow Flower” suncatcher as part of the $25 registration fee. During the class, participants will also learn about the art of fused glass while enjoying complementary drinks. Along with a wide array of colorful art glass, other materials such as frit, wire, dots, millefiori and stringer will be available for use. Additional “Meadow Flower” suncatchers may be made and paid for during the event and there is also an option to “upgrade” and create a one-of-a-kind nightlight as well.
