The Ponca City Gospel Jubilee will feature “Bill Baker” April 29th at 6:30 p.m. Bill hales from Healdton Oklahoma where he lives with his wife of 18 years Kristin and son Guy. Also, county commissioner in his 2nd term and travels extensively through the country singing for the Lord. Bill is a Talented musician, song writer (singing mostly his own songs) with a few old favorites thrown in and recording artist. Bill has been blessed to appear and sing with groups such as: The Isaacs, Jeff and Sherry Easter, Jason Crabb, The Hoppers to name a few. We are excited to have Bill join us at the Jubilee for a great evening of Gospel music and testimony. Bills says his testimony is pretty simple. I’ve been a cowboy all my life. It’s an image that America has been in love with from coast to coast for as long as anyone I know can remember. I didn’t wake up one day and say I want to be a Country Christian Singer then go down and by some boots and jeans. I’m like like Barbara Mandrell, “I was country when country wasn’t cool”. Bill said. Without glorifying the deeds of my past, I’ve been a loser and a winner in and out of the arena, but I never won as much as the day through the blood of Jesus my battle with sin was won! Our mission is simple #soulssaved.
