In Small East Region 2 Basketball Kiefer Starr of Tonkawa was chosen to receive All-Region honors. He also earned All-State honorable mention for his efforts on the court.Starr started as a combo guard for the Buccaneers this year, playing both as a point guard and shooting guard. Starr was also the team’s second leading scorer this season.The Buccaneers went 16-11 and earned the District title this year. Coach Mike Deckman said that Starr shot 47 percent from three point range and that he was a selfless player who only wanted the team to win games.
