Award winning author, Alton Carter, will be returning to the Tonkawa High School Event Center on Monday, February 27, at 6:00 pm.Carter’s books include “The Boy Who Carried Bricks,” “Aging Out,” “The Boy Who Survived,”, “The Boy Who Dreamed Big,” and “The Boy Who Went to the Library”.Carter grew up in foster care where he spent time in 17 foster homes, 3 institutions, and a boys ranch before he graduated high school. His story of resilience and overcoming obstacles is truly inspirational, and one that you will be blessed by.This event is open to parents and students of Tonkawa Schools and the public.
