Rylee Hampton is 2023 Tonkawa wrestling Homecoming Queen. Jadin Howard was the crowning captain. Attendants were Heidi Hembree and Torrie Simmons, Landon Strong and Konner Reid. Flower girl was Sutton Simpson and crownbearer was Jonathan Martin.Following are biographies of each member of the royal court:Rylee Hampton is the daughter of Stephane and Brandon Hampton. She is the granddaughter of Jonnie and the late Brent Hampton and Elizabeth and the late Steve Johnston. She is a younger sister to Braydon Hampton and older sister to Kamryn Hampton. Rylee is a member of Tonkawa Methodist Church. She has played softball for three years and ran track for four years. She has been a ball girl and a mat maid for four years. She has been a member of both the National Honor Society and student council for three years. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is watching OSU football with her family. Her plan after high school is to further her education at the University of Central Oklahoma and apply to the nursing program.Konner Reid is the son of Ryan and Deana Reid. Brother of Kaegan and Landry Reid. The grandson of Steve and Donna Reid of Ponca City, Dean and Sandy Meader of Ponca City, Allen and Teresa Jeffries. Konner has played football for two years. He has also wrestled for two years. In his free time, he likes to play video games and go to the gym. When he graduates from high school he plans on going to PTC and becoming a firefighter/EMT.Heidi Hembree is the daughter of Brian and Krista Hembree; the granddaughter of Toni Purdy and the late Hessel Purdy, David Hembree and Mary Robson; and the great-granddaughter of the late Eddie and Wilma Hembree. She has three sisters Holly, Hannah and Henley; brother-in-law Colton and nephew Wilder. She is a member of the National Honor Society, is in the running for Valedictorian and was 2022 Girls State Delegate. She has served on student council for four years and is this year’s Stu-Co President. She has cheered four years and was Co-Captain for Football Cheerleading. She has been in extended studies for four years, track for four years and mat maid for two years. She attends Christian Life Church in Tonkawa.
