Tonkawa Buc wrestlers placed four in the tough Inola tournament this past weekend. In addition, the girls went to Western Conference at Inola Monday and placed six. On tap this week are district duals at Tonkawa, starting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12. The Buc wrestlers were to dual with Crossings Christian Tuesday night at the old gym. Junior high wrestlers go to the Pawnee Festival next Monday, Jan. 16, with matches getting under way at 10 a.m.The next dual will be vs. Barnsdall Thursday, Jan. 19, on the road; then Hennessey here at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24th.Inola tourney placers follow: Kylie Freeman 3rd , Jadin Howard 5th, Tate Coffee 6th, Landon Beliel 6th. Western conference girls placers follow: Kylie freeman - 1st, Talynn Williams - 3rd, Joey Tabor - 3rd, Rylie Turner - 3rd, Jazmine Dollarhide - 4th , Lacey Howard - 4th.At the district duals which get underway at 11 a.m. today, there wll be seven teams. They include Cashion, Hennesssey, Oklahoma Christian school, Pawnee, Perkins-Tryon, Perry and Tonkawa. There will be multiple mats going at once in the Tonkawa Event Center.
