Blake Bristow scored all four Tonkawa touchdowns in a 31-0 win over Morrison here Thursday night -- one by rushing and three others receiving.The other score came on a 27 yard field goal by Cam Jackson. Jackson was also perfect in PAT kicks, getting all four between the uprights.Tonkawa’s defense came up big in the second half, holding the Wildcats to a mere two first downs the final two quarters.Jaidyn Guzman led the charge with 11 tackles, three for minus yardage with Luke Shepherd close behind with 10.Bristow, Jackson and quarterback Ryan Morgan both surpassed the century mark rushing, passing and receiving.Bristow had 39 yards rushing and 86 yards receiving. Jackson led all runners with 104 yards on 25 carries.Morgan was 7-13 passing for 108 yards, the other 20 in three catches by Westyn Freeman.The Bucs jumped off to a 14-0 first quarter lead.The first TD came on a 33 yard pass play from Morgan to Bristow, the second play in a 32 yard drive.The second one came on a 19 yard pass play from Morgan to Bristow. That drive covered 63 yards in 9 plays and included a pass from Morgan to Freeman for 11 yards and runs by Jackson of 8, 8 and 9 yards.Jackson’s field goal gave the Bucs a 17-0 halftime cushion.Both second half Tonkawa touchdowns came after Buc defensive takeaways.Morgan intercepted Morrison to set the Bucs up at the 28. On fourth and six from the 24, Morgan hit Bristow for 24 yards and the score.The final Tonkawa TD came after Bristow covered a fumble on a pass play by Morrison at the Wildcat 37. On fourth and one, Bristow ran 28 yards for the score.Jadin Howard, Guzman, Dalton Pierce, Dom Grein, Bristow, Shepherd and Isaiah Lively were all in on tackles for losses.Lively had three pass hurries and Howard two. Clayton Lopeman intercepted a pass during the game as well.
