Northern Oklahoma College Regents approved a measure Wednesday that allows high school juniors to receive a concurren enrollment tuition waiver.The tuition waiver for academically qualified high school juniors will be available starting in Fall 2022. Juniors are eligible to take up to nine college credit hours per year. The tuition waiver does not include academic fees or books.The Oklahoma legislature approved the tuition waiver for juniors in the most recent legislative session.“This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn college credit at a greatly reduced cost to their families,” said NOC President Dr. Clark Harris. “We are so pleased the legislature is waiving tuition for juniors, this will help so many students get a head start on their college experience.”Currently, seniors have been eligible to participate in the tuition waiver program while juniors could take college courses did no receive a tuition waiver.A student taking full advantage of the program may earn as many as 27 college credit hours during high school, nine (9) credi hours during the junior year and 18 credit hours during the senior year.
