The annual Lucky Duck Derby sponsored by the Tonkawa High School Alumni Association, who is partnering with the Tonkawa Masonic Lodge for this event, will be held on Monday, July 4th, immediately following the parade downtown Tonkawa at the canal on West Grand Avenue just west of the Christian Church.One can adopt a duck at Venture Foods until sold out or by calling Reta Swords at 580-628-1833 and leaving a message. She will return your phone call.The cost to adopt a duck for the Derby is $5.00 each or 5 ducks for $20.00. Proceeds go toward THS Senior scholarships and THS projects.
