Spring break sure was needed, we are glad to see all the students back in the classrooms and on campus. Not much occurred over the break sadly… No baseball, track, or much of anything. We are all well rested and ready for the next few weeks of baseball, track, and FFA. Starting off with some news about our FFA team, they have done really well this year! We want to spotlight this years senior, Kenzie Glenny for all the accomplishments she’s been awarded this year. Kenzie has been awarded supreme doe at county, top county produced doe at county, top bred and owned at county, reserve supreme heifer at county, champion commercial heifer at county, champion Maine heifer at county, champion senior beef showman, reserve champion doe and wether showman, reserve champion Maine at districts, she won beef and doe showmanship at districts, 5th, 8th, and 5th at OYE with her does, and was reserve division 1 Maine at OYE! Congratulations Kenzie, amazing job. Tonkawa High school’s FFA Chapter held the FFA trophy and raised almost $24,000 and raised $5,000 from the hun raffle. Our FFA Chapter will head to the convention in May, great job FFA! Good luck with the rest of the year!
