Tonkawa teachers cashed in on a grant opportunity provided by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and Donors Choose. Nicole Jones, TES PK instructor received a grant for her students. “My Pre-K classroom recently received some hands-on learning materials from a DonorsChoose project that was fully funded from the Oklahoma State Department of Education. We received a set of alphabet stepping stones, a set of number stepping stones, and a complete set of bean bag learning activities. Pre-K students learn best through play. These new materials will allow us to jump, move, toss, sort, and play with letters, numbers, shapes, and colors,” says Ms. Jones.
