Cashius McNeilly led a balanced Northern Oklahoma College Maverick attack Monday night in a 105-92 win over Eastern.NOC (13-4) improved to 4-1 in the OCAC while Eastern (14-3) fell to 2-2 in league play.In first game as a Maverick, McNeilly led with 22 points while Jalen Johnson added 21, and Fede Federiko 20.Syrus Grisby also reached double figures with 15 while DJ Jones added 11, and Elijah Pickens 10.Coach Brad Witherspoon was proud of the Mavs for how they responded after losing to Seminole last Thursday.“We looked like a completely different team compared to the Seminole game,” Witherspoon said. “I thought we had a lot more energy and effort. We were the aggressor the whole game and it payed off. Proud of the way we bounced back after a tough loss”The Mavs trailed the Mountaineers 18-12 in the first half before going on a 42-18 run to end the half building a 54-36 lead.The Mavs then kept Eastern at bay in the second half maintaining a double figure lead throughout.
