Tonkawa school board has approved the hiring of an instructor to teach music at Tonkawa Elementary School.Holly Peart resigned effective at the end of the first semester.Hired to replace her is Katelyn Fisher, who now lives in Stillwater but plans to move here.In other action Dec. 16, board members Casey McAninch, Jerry Hook, Cara Beth Johnson and Nancy Appleman (Brian Bowling was absent):-- Approved the new Student Transfer policy for Tonkawa Public Schools effective Jan. 1, 2022.
