Travis Parker wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.Second and $7 goes to Shelly Martin.Third place and $3 goes to Cochanna Parker.All three missed one game on the contest. Parker wins first because he was closest on the tie-breaker. He picked Tonkawa to beat Cashion 28-24, 24 points off the actual 8-28 score.Martin was 32 points off with a 35-33 guess and Cochanna Parker was 38 off with a 38-20 guess.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score.
