Joshua Parker wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.Second and $7 goes to Mike Smith.Third place and $3 goes to Peggy Neeley.Parker was the lone entry to just miss one game this week.Several missed two, so it went to tie-breaker to settle second and third.Second place goes to Smith, who was 7 points off the OSU-Texas game score with a 28-27 guess. The actual was 32-24.Neeley was 14 off with a 28-14 guess.Others who missed two but were farther off on the tie-breaker included Shelly Martin and Cochanna Parker.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score.
