Marissa Parker wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.Second and $7 goes to Chuck Neely.Third place and $3 goes to Tracy Summers.Parker and Neely both tied missing one game. Parker was closest on the tie-breaker, picking OU to beat Tulane 36-21, 18 points off the actual 40-35 final score. Neely picked the Sooners 56-14.Summers was tied with two others missing two games on the contest. She picked OU 49-14, 30 points off. Others missing two games but farther off on the tie-breaker included Dawn McGaha and Mike Smith.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score.
