Welcome back to another week of Buc Blab! We have a lot going on this week and a lot that has happened in the past few days. Tonkawa Lady Bucs softball pulled out a win against Heritage Hall Saturday. The senior slugger Jules Thompson hit a walk off single to end the game with a 5 to 4 win and number 33 Jaci Johnson won the pitching battle against Heritage Hall. Tonkawa football had their second scrimmage against Woodland last Thursday. This sets their sights pretty high for their first home game against the Newkirk tigers this Thursday night. Tonkawa cross country handles their second meet at Kingfisher with excitement and are glad to be back competing. The Pride of Tonkawa has been working super hard this summer and this school year putting in extra time for the upcoming competitions and football games! They will be performing three different halftime shows this year that they have been working super hard on, so come out and support your Bucs this Thursday night for a great game and a great show! Wishing for the best as Kyle Simpson goes through a speedy recovery! Thanks for reading along with this week’s Buc Blab, until next week!
