The Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce will be having their 4th of July celebration on Sunday, July 4th.
The parade begins at 2:00 p.m. The decorated bicycle/ATV contest will line up at the Methodist Church (4th & Grand) starting at 1:00 p.m. with judging at 1:30 p.m. Tiny Tot/Mr. Muscle will be held at Heart in the Park with registration starting at 12:30 and judging at 1:00 p.m. Lucky Duck Derby follows the parade at the 9th Street canal.
The Chamber will be giving away a Yeti (Tundra 45) cooler, donated by Double R Oilfield, during the Lucky Duck Derby. You may purchase your raffle tickets at the Chamber office, M-Th (9-4) or Friday 9-noon. Each ticket is $5.00 or you can purchase multiple tickets at a discounted price.
Blinn Park Activities include the annual Horse Shoe Tournament and this year, the newly added Cornhole Tournament. These begin at 3:00 p.m. There will be a coin dig for children ages 2-12 at 7:00 p.m. The fireworks display will be held at Blinn Park starting at dusk.
