ENID, Oklahoma -- The Northern Oklahoma College Baseball team lost 8-0 to top seeded Western in the first round of the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament at Enid Friday night.
NOC (31-26) drops to the consolation bracket where they faced North Central Missouri College at 1 p.m. Monday in Enid.
The Mavs were held hitless by Western starter Jose Torrealba who struck out 14 and walked one.
Blake Hubbard allowed five runs on seven hits in 5.1 innings. Brysen Williams, Josh Major, and Josh Bumgarner pitched in relief for the Mavs.
