The Danny Bluebaugh Allstar Athletes and Military Memorial Showcases Committee of the Alumni Association is announcing the new website: htttp//www.tonkawaallstarsmilitary.com . The committee hopes community members try it and pass it on. It is accessible on desk top, laptop or iPad and phone.
The website is primarily an electronic version of the panels installed in the Event Center as well as the hardback books that illustrate the showcases. The committee will update the website yearly. Contact Donnie Noles for information about the Allstar Athletes Showcase. Noles will update the athlete showcase and panels. Mike Schatz will update the military showcase and panels, which feature soldiers who attended Tonkawa High School and served in foreign wars. Contact Schatz if your soldier is not on the current panels. The Military version of the website contains a link to Tonkawa High School’s Military Wall of Honor and a place for registering for the Wall. It includes those who served in the military but not necessarily overseas. The panels and showcases were made possible through the Alumni Association and Superintendent Lori Simpson and Principal Kyle Simpson.
