Tonkawa high school placed two in the Class 2A state track meet at Ardmore Saturday, May 8.
Dante Mendoza was sixth in the boys shot put. He threw it 44-11 in the finals.
Mikayla Myer was seventh in the girls 300m hurdles. She ran it in a time of 50.54.
As teams, the girls placed 32nd and the boys 34th.

Girls 4x400 meter relay -- Tonkawa 12th in 4:28.03 with Heidi Hembree, Karlee Meadows, Emma Owen and Mikayla Myer.
Girls 4x800 meter relay -- Tonkawa, 13th in 11:15.29 with Heidi Hembree, Adynn Ronald, Brooklyn Day and Hannah Haley.
Girls pole vault -- Gloria Reyes, 11th in 7-0.
Boys 4x800 meter relay -- Tonkawa, 10th in 9:15.78 with clay Massey, Landon Beliel, Nate Anderson and Peyton Keith.
Boys high jump -- Clay Massey, 17th in 5-08.
