Hey Tonkawa!
Due to last week’s ice, we did not have school until Thursday, which means school was out and some of our sports were cancelled again last week.
Even though it had to be moved to Friday, we were still able to have basketball homecoming, I would like to congratulate the 2021 basketball captain Colton Anson and the 2021 homecoming queen Skylee Perkins. Congratulations to the rest of the basketball homecoming court as well.
We transitioned to distance learning this week due to recordbreaking snow expected. In a year of firsts, I have to say that this is by far the coldest temperatures I have ever felt and the first time I remember not wanting to even go outside to play in the snow! The current temperature, as I write this (Monday, February 15th,) is -4, with a wind chill of -26 and snowing! I pray everyone has been able to stay safe and warm this week with the freezing cold temperatures.
