We made it one full week into the spring semester at Tonkawa schools before the decision was made to go back to distance learning for two weeks. We will return back to in-person learning on January 25th.
The basketball teams are currently scheduled to host Woodland schools at 6:30 Friday, January 15th. They will also play at home against Frontier on January 19th at 6:30. Buc wrestlers are also scheduled to travel to Perkins for a dual Thursday, January 21st. With our school going virtual, it is hard to say whether or not our teams will continue on with their schedules.
Since we are still fresh into a new year, I want to share a quote by Edith Lovejoy Pierce: “We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves and the first chapter is New Year’s day.”
We are only fourteen days into the new year. If you made goals for the year, you still have 351 more days to accomplish what you want for this year. Don’t give up on yourself.
