Filing will be Dec. 7-9 for office one on the Tonkawa Board of Education, it was announced at Monday night’s meeting of the school board.
Office one, currently held by Mary Allan, will be vacant.
Filing will be 8 am. to 5 p.m. at the Kay County Election Board at the County Courthouse in Newkirk Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 7-9.

Cheryl Howard, Secretary of the Kay County Election Board, said the filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 9th.
The Board of Education positions at stake will be filled at the
Annual School Election scheduled April 6, 2021. If three or more candidates file for one office a Primary School Election will be held on February 9, 2021.
