2020, THE STARS STILL SHINE IN TONKAWA is Tonkawa’s theme this year in celebration of its annual Olde Tyme Christmas on Thursday December 3, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to downtown Tonkawa to enjoy all the activities and events for this holiday season. Local restaurants will be serving as usual, plus there will be food trucks, kettle corn and tamales available.
Some of the activities include: Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Entertainment, Singing, Christmas Tree Lighting, and a wonderful Christmas Parade.
This parade entrants are being asked to decorate their float according to the theme, 2020, The Stars still shine in Tonkawa. The winning float will receive a cash prize of $50.00.
We can’t forget the most important part of Christmas…Santa will be arriving in a horse drawn carriage. Santa will be socially distanced this year, and available for pictures at 202 East Grand, through a beautifully decorated window scene.
So, we hope that you and your families will come and celebrate this Holiday Season enjoying the festivities in Tonkawa.
